Importance

Risk assessments are  important because they are able to form an integral part of an occupational health and safety management planet. They also are able to determine whether a control program is required for a particular hazard.

Health Safety is importance because it protects the well being of employers, visitors and customers.

Storage on the SD card.

A class four SD card is a memory card which supports sustained writing at 4 MB/s or better, where as a Class 10 memory card supports sustained writing at 10 Mb/s or better. This tells us what the difference is between a class four and a class 10 SD card.

The size which would be most suitable for a HD video is, a class 10 rather than the class 4 SD. This is because a class 10 had a higher and better UHS.

Pachinko Machine

What is a Pachinko machine?

This is a type of mechanical game originating in Japan and is used as a recreational arcade game and a gambling device, filling a Japanese gambling  comparable to that of the slot machine in Western gaming.

Image result for pachinko machine

A pachinko machine is suppose to resemble a pinball machine but is different from Western pinball in several ways.

Image result for pachinko machine

Players get a number of balls by inserting cash or cards directly into the machine they want to use. These balls are then shot into the machine usually pulling a lever once for each launch from a ball tray. The balls then fall vertically through an array of pins, levers, cups, traps and various obstacles until they reach the bottom of the machine screen.

If the first 2 numbers or letters of the spin match up, the digital program will display many animations before the third reel stops spinning, to give the player added excitement. This is called a reach and sometimes longer animations are played called super reaches. Pachinko machines offer different odds in hitting a jackpot; if the player manages to obtain a jackpot the machine will enter into payout mode.

Winnings take the form of additional balls, which players may either use to keep playing or exchange for prizes. When players wish to exchange their winnings, they must call a parlor staff member by using a call button located at the top of their station. The staff member will then carry the player’s balls to an automated counter to see how many balls they have. After recording the number of balls the player won and the number of the machine they used, the staff member will then give the player a voucher or card with the number of balls stored in it.

Rule Of thirds

My Story Board Idea

  • Main character stands in front of the camera, directly in the middle but the back is turned round. Camera is zoomed in at this point
  • Camera zooms out and the character turns around so we can see its face.
  • Gun is pulled out in her right arm
  • left arm had been raised and the camera moves towards the right.
  • Begins shooting to the right with the gun and fire is released in the shot.
  • Camera moves further to the right and we see a army attacking her.
  • All army men fall down, being defeated.
  • Camera turns left back to the focus of the main character.
  • Character kneels down with head down, and gun on the floor.
  • Screen goes blank with the text VICTORY!

Camera Set up

Risks Assessment

Wires on the floor could cause a tripping hazard while in process of filming, which could result in injury.

Any camera lighting stand could fall over and hit someone, falling onto them while filming, resulting in injury.

Green Screen Roar Footage

Transferring Green screen- SD card- PC Process.

I done this process by firstly being able to put the SD card into the camera, to then record the green screen footage of each individual person including myself. Then once the footage was finished being filmed it had been saved onto the SD card, which in that case it was taken out of the slot in the camera into a SD card reader linked into the computer to save it onto my own document and edit it on premiere, using different visual effects.

So far using premier i have managed to transfer my footage onto premier and used the razor tool to cut of any unneeded audio and extra footage which was not needed on my video. I had also dragged the original green screen footage behind the background image which i have decided i would be using to create this video.

Using the opacity use the box to cut out anything which is not part of the green screen and only focus on the green screen.

Using the eyedropper remember to select the color green before doing this. Also remember to use ultra key from the edit drop down box and drag it into the clip.

Blur taken away by tweeting pedestal to a higher number.

Editing my video footage and settings.

In this i had used the saturation to turn my self black and white to suit the theme and background i am using in this. I have also use hue and lighting to make it look more realistic and to stand out more clearly to the viewers. I have done all of this by using the garbage mask and matte.

3-D Modelling Cirque Questions

Good or bad?

I think this project went quite well as i have learnt new things and developed new skills, but other than that the shape and whole lay out and materials of the wagon wheel has came out very well.

Does it look real or stylized?

I would say this looks more stylized then it does realistic.

Image result for stylized wagon wheel

I rate this model a 7 out of 10 as for some things could have been improved such as the sticks and the sizing of them and where they are positioned. But i rate the color and texturing a 8 out of 10. These could be improved by adding more texture than color.

This whole model was quite easy to do once i had knew the basic instructions. The hardest part of the model to make was the middle and the easiest was the ring around it all. I’ve learnt new tools by making this model using Maya, such as creating a pipe which could come in very useful for future projects which come up during my course.

My favorite part of creating the model was adding the materials as it was interesting to see what my creation had looked like with the color and textures of the materials once finished.

Image result for wagon wheel in maya

This is more likely to be featured in a western type action, adventure game then any other sort of game, most suitable for a 3-D platform game up to its standard for that type of platform. This model is similar to the wagon wheels used in the game called Red Dead Redemption.

Image result for wagon wheel in red dead redemption

This could be used in other assets of a game such as wheels on cannons, wagons or just laying about in plain sight with in the game.

feedback Reflection

Good parts in which people like about my game are.

The game is made to be dark and scary which makes it terrifying, there are good character ideas and there is a good aim of the game and adjective. The unique selling points are the characters, missions, the story- line and the game mehanics.

The best three features in my game are:

graphics, mechanics and influences.

i could develop this idea further by including more character designs and target audience information.

This game is said to be realistic by feedback because, of the amount of detail included in the game, the objective of the game and the characters.

This game has interesting concept.

My full game pitch.. above.

I think that my pitch is well done with plenty of details and very realistic, to actually become a game which could sell. I have received good feedback by others which i am pleased about and did well in the elevating pitch, controls, mechanics and more.

Game Design Pitch

I am making a game pitch on a game called the dark of the night, which is a horror/ mystery adventure game taken place in a 3rd person perspective. Project Description

This project is based around making a Game Design Document on a game pitch to be able to present and talk about, to promote what I have came up with, this would include what game play is in my game, character creations, genre, rules of play and the different missions and platform, in this horror adventure time which I am designing. I could also include drawing sketches of the characters in which I will include in my game to reinforce my GDD.

Core Game Mechanics

Missions- Missions provide the players with different types of objectives for the player to be able to accomplish as an individual. Once the mission in the game has been completed, users may feel the sense of the accomplishment in which they have achieved then, selves. The game dynamics work along side with the missions in the game, there include things, such as the community, competition, achievement, surprise and exploration.

Unlocks- Unlocks are used in a game for the unlocking of missions of challenged in a game with different types of objectives for the player to be able to achieve as an individual. The player must complete a mission or a task which will then allow them to unlock things in the game

Puzzle- Puzzle games usually have a core mechanic and several secondary mechanics. Secondary mechanics should help explore the main one by blocking it in some way or by revealing a facet of it.

Assets in my game

My characters Including the interactive characters which the players will take control of, which is a boy and a girl, including along with those two characters is the villain called ashes.

Side characters might include characters such as monsters, spiders and skeletons.

Environmental assets will include features such as, the trees which is going to use a 2-D texture for the wood, rocks/ stones, sky, path, large mushrooms, logs, fire, buildings and walls. The only vehicle which will be featured in my game is a carriage appearing in front of the villains castle building. Objects included in the game will be, equipment used by characters such as weapons, maps, torches and other interactive objects around them in the game environment.

Influences to make this video game pitch.

Number one

This game is inspired my murder mysteries game which you are able to play on your phone and PC where you solve puzzles and find clues to lead you onto the next part of the game to find the criminal. This became an influence because I thought and realized that it would be great if you could include this into an interactive 3D platform console game instead of just the old 2-D platform games with less content included inside of the game.

Number Two

The theme of this game is inspired by the movie of Alice and wonderland, but instead of it being more childlike, it has been made dark and into a horror game like the Alice and wonderland horror game itself.

I choose this as an influence to make the map more interesting and entertaining to explore while playing the game, and there are more things for you to interact with and discover.

Number three

My influence on the villain characters is inspired by dragons as for she is a serial killer, but designed as a dragon like monster, with horns and wings on fire in the game which goes around killing the people in the forest for the player to find clues to find her.

I found a dragon, human like serial killer monster would be an interesting idea for the bad guy in my game, and would attract more people to play and purchase this game.
